The pilot program for the new comedy show, “How to Look Stupid While Appearing to Try to Impeach a Duly-elected President,” had its opening act in the House of Representatives last week.

Don’t be confused and think the show going on in Washington, D.C., is a real governmental function.

Oh, no. This is Rep. Adam Schiff’s tryout for the lead in what Progressive Democrats think may become a fixture on prime time in the mainstream media (sometimes called fake news by President Donald Trump.)

Here’s the real story line: A bunch of leftists angry that President Trump won the 2016 election are determined to overturn that erroneous decision (in their view) by a bunch of “deplorables” (loser Hillary Clinton’s word for all those who didn’t vote for her).

Normal people were thereby relegated to the rank of uncivilized louts, i.e. not cool like her and hubby Bill who have their own personal standard of appropriate behavior. (You do remember Bill’s own impeachment for lying about actions in the Oval Office which might be considered less than moral by some priggish souls out in Deplorable Land.)

And that doesn’t even touch on the illegal handling of State Department secrets by Ms. “But It Was My Turn“ on her personal computer when she was secretary of state under Barack Obama or the bundles of money that were funneled into the “nonprofi t” Clinton Foundation, from which only a minuscule percentage went to benevolent causes.

But this isn’t about the Clintons.

Rather it is a new version of “A Star Is Born.”

This hot new series for which Schiff is trying out for the lead is about how a serious and capable left-wing congressman (Schiff) has been overcoming all sorts of obstacles to destroy a president he detests as someone outside the Deep State (sometimes referred to as the Swamp).

It could also be called a coup attempt.

(Editor’s note: This guy who is sitting in the president’s chair doesn’t even know that government’s sole purpose is to fatten the bank accounts of certain members of a ruling caste (sometimes called the elite and other times the Deep State). This character is a disrupter and must be removed if the Swamp is ever to return to its former cozy environment for the Deep State denizens.

Just what are Congressman Schiff’s qualifi cations for a starring role?

For starters he represents California, which is on fire due to policies enacted by other far left politicians, who are quickly turning the Golden State into something resembling bankrupt and unlivable Venezuela (formerly the most prosperous country in South America before a leftist take-over.)

Schiff has personally led the entire Impeach Trump campaign as judge, jury and executioner, an assignment given him by Fellow California lefty, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

As chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, he has made all the rules for the “inquiry” into whether President Trump should be ousted, the main one being: Republicans and anyone else opposed to impeachment: Shut up and don’t bother coming to hearings because you’re going to be ignored, anyway.

Although impeachment is a purely political process, Schiff and pals have taken direct aim at a key principle of the American judicial system, the right to face one’s accusers – due process. Don’t even mention that nonsense about innocent until proven guilty.

You see, there was this “whistle blower,” a Democrat in good standing with the #NeverTrump cabal, a holdover from the Obama regime who was planted in the White House by former CIA Director John Brennan.

This “whistle blower” heard from someone that President Trump pressured the president of Ukraine to reopen an investigation into corruption there of a gas company on which Hunter Biden, the son of former Vice-President Joe Biden, sat as a director at the princely salary of $50,000 a month.

This whistle blower raced over to Schiff and reported his second-, third-, or fourth-hand information, rather than going to the FBI, as protocol would suggest, and Schiff immediately went public with the announcement, “we’ve got the sucker now” or words to that effect.

Later, when retelling the whistle blower’s version of the “offense,” he made up a lot of stuff that was fact-checked as false.

At that point, Schiff sniffed, “Well that was just my parody.”

You can see right away from his ad libbing what a natural Schiff would be when they start fi lming.

Besides that, his elegant long neck (some cruel folks call it a “pencil neck”), snappish eyes that sometimes seem to go around in circles and his nimblelight feet make him the ideal leading man, physically.

Besides that the series producers wouldn’t need a script writer. Congressman Schiff could just make it all up as the cameras roll.

Congressman Schiff’s impeachment efforts are sure to fly like a lead balloon if they reach the Senate (where a two-thirds favorable vote would be required to oust the president).

Don’t tell Congressman Schiff but there’s an election coming up next year where the people of America can decide President Trump’s qualifications to serve a second term.

The left’s efforts to kick him out before that election might really be all about trying to make him look unqualifi ed before that election.

Schiff and allies have declined to give the president due process, that deal where an accused person can question his accusers.

Maybe the real purpose is about removing due process from American people.

This impeachment (a scam is Trump’s word) is infringing on every citizen’s due process rights. It’s citizens’ votes they are attempting to overturn.

Schiff and fellow Swamp dwellers have just told us we’re not smart enough to elect a president.

There’s a rainbow on the horizon for Schiff. If President Trump is re-elected, his new TV series should be a shoo-in for fake news TV stations for at least four years.
