Invading a church is criminal

It should be obvious to anyone who can think at all that the “protests” waged in a Minnesota church last week was criminal as well as another leftist trick aimed at undermining President Trump.

Why anyone would go into a church to create a disturbance rather than worship is an assault on freedom of religion on top of being ugly and stupid.

David Harsanyi, senior writer at the Washington Examiner and syndicated columnist, makes the point this way: “Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., likes to argue that the “whole point” of protesting is to make people ‘uncomfortable.’

“Debate. Dissent. Running highly misleading political ads. ... These are all part of our great tradition of political discourse.

“In this, as in so much else, the Democrat darling is incorrect. Taking to the streets to disrupt the lives of average citizens is a leftist ideal, not an American one. It’s antithetical to the highest virtue of republicanism, namely, minding your own business.”

Protest is acceptable in the case of calling attention to unconstitutional or illegal matters and is sometimes effective — Dr. Martin Luther King, for instance.

Surely, the mobs of self-righteous thugs in Minnesota must have been hired and manipulated by others seeking to regain control of the federal government. Neither the rioters nor the manipulators behind them care a fig about the illegal foreigners with criminal records that ICE is working to remove from our society.

Chaos is the goal whether it’s ICE or global warming, the former big leftist talking point that has been so thoroughly disproved.

The ultimate goal is to turn our nation into a revolutionary battleground.

That’s a bad idea in every respect. While the Left is fighting with anything it can find since its earlier tricks to “get” Trump have fallen flat, still the uproar and uncertainty is difficult for many Americans to understand.

Some have noted, such tactics in preventing Trump from winning the presidency a second time failed badly.

The anti-ICE nuts may come to realize at some point that their efforts are in vain but they probably don’t care: the money’s good and besides they get noticed by the national media.

ICE Is a Legal Law Enforcement Agency

As Harsanyi also points out: “Our laws governing the border and immigration, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement itself, were all democratically instituted.”

As usual left-wing judges are practicing “lawfare” against ICE personnel.

A federal appellate court declined to order a lower court judge to sign arrest warrants against five protesters, including former CNN anchor Don Lemon, in connection with the anti-ICE protest inside a church in St. Paul, Minnesota. However, one of the three judges said he felt there was probable cause to justify the arrests.

The ultimate goal of the so-called protests is for Democrats to gain control of the House of Representatives so that they can impeach Trump again, likely with the same results as during Trump’s first term.

I get really tired of reading the so-called news stories on my cell phone, all connected to left-wing sources, slanting every incident against ICE’s efforts to remove illegal undesirables from our midst.

They could headline every offering simply with “Orange Man Bad.”

Sadly a lot of people may have forgotten that removing the criminal element among our illegal aliens welcomed into the nation by the millions by former pseudo-president Joe Biden was one of the points a majority of citizens voted for President Trump to accomplish.

Nobody is happy that a couple of ne’er-do wells have lost their lives for behaving illegally.

Unlike most politicians, Trump is good to his word. Oh, and by the way, the border is closed; a necessity for a sovereign nation.

Would we really want people involved in creating the current disorder in charge of running our nation?

Just wondering: Who at this point is planning to move to Minnesota?

Words of My Father Remembered

Conditions in Minnesota today remind me of my father’s instructions when I got my first driver’s license. He said: “If an officer tells you to stop, stop!” He had additional instructions when I left for college: “Don’t join any large crowds.”

I continue to follow those words today and so far I haven’t been arrested or shot.

I’ll have to admit I did go to a few ball games, but the attendance could hardly be called a crowd when I was at Oklahoma A&M College, later Oklahoma State University.

There wasn’t much for the home crowd to cheer about in those days.
