I want to discuss the new fire station. I’ll get to that directly. I’m sorry to see Debbie Burpo resigning from the city council, she’s one in a million.

We drove by the site of the new fire station. Looks like a new sign is up. Maybe things will start moving. I’d like to see a blueprint of the station, or a perspective of how it would lay on the lots. I think that would help the people that were opposed to the project see what they are getting for the money Personally I supported the project, I couldn’t vote for it, because I’m not a resident of Kingfisher.

I’m a retired fire fighter, and I could see the need.
