Constitutional Carry

By

Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt has endorsed a petition basically to revoke the constitutional carry law that goes into effect Nov. 1.

Our legislature passed this law and Governor Stitt signed it. Since Mayor Holt has come out against it he now has violated his oath of office to uphold and defend the constitution and should resign his office immediately.

There are some people supporting this petition, mostly city people. It looks like for every shooting there is in OKC there is at least one stabbing, so why don’t people have to have a permit to carry a knife?

And the number of people killed by driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol is far more than people being shot to death.

Why don’t we ban alcohol? Simple. It’s a money thing.

When the law goes into effect Nov. 1, for now I probably won’t carry a pistol, unless I decide different.

Y’all know how I feel about the Constitution and Bill of Rights. I took the oath in October of 1962 and so far, I haven’t been released from that oath and don’t plan on it.

An armed citizen is a citizen. An unarmed citizenry are subjects – subject to the whims of a dictator.

Think about it.

God bless America.
