I’ve been doing a kinda condensed version of the history of country music.

We have many up and coming young artists. I’m not familiar with the newest ones, Vince Gill, Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, to name a few. These guys are superstars in their own right.

For those that love gospel music, Alan Jackson has an awesome gospel music album, you can go to Gaither gospel.com, its available through them. Vince is a song writer, he has written some awesome songs. And he’s an Oklahoma native, as Garth is, also Toby Keith.

I can’t get by without mentioning Reba McEntire. This lady has so many honors, female entertainer of the year, country music hall of fame are a few. And Vince and Garth have done very well in those categories.

We can be very proud of our Oklahoma country music performers. There’s many more awesome country music performers, way too many for this writing.
