Our forefathers founded our great country on freedom from oppression. They left countries where they either had no religion or were forced to attend churches, whose beliefs were contrary to their own.

In some countries, only the wealthy were allowed to hunt for their food, if the common people did hunt, they were subject to imprisonment, even executed.

They, our forefathers, came to America, to establish a new life. In the 1700s, they began to colonize, and form a government, many fought and died; right always prevails. They drafted our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Our forefathers fought several wars over the centuries. Many died to protect our freedoms!!!

This year is important, we will elect a president, if we make the right choice, those freedoms will be preserved. If we make the wrong choice, our freedoms will disappear. Our children and grandchildren will be subjects, instead of experiencing the freedom we have enjoyed. And the lives of our forefathers will have been in vain. I reckon, hope, I’ve got my point across.
