Harvest is starting, weather allowing. I’ve heard there’s been some wheat cut.

Harvest is going to be interesting this year, for sure, with the wet fields and humid days. Everybody’s gonna be in a hurry: Gotta get this field cut and move on to the next one …and getting this load of wheat to the elevator and getting back to the field for another load.

I’ve been there, done that.

We get engrossed in the hustle and bustle of harvest we kinda throw caution to the wind – pretty much oblivious to the rest of the world.

Everybody needs to use caution. Both the folks harvesting and the folks using farm-to-market roads. And the farm-to-market roads aren’t in the greatest shape right now.

We all need to respect each other.

We have to use the roads to move our equipment; have some patience and that goes for both sides.
