Thanks for coverage
I wish to thank the Kingfisher Times & Free Press for covering all the rural communities in Kingfisher County including my hometown of Hennessey. The coverage of the Times & Free Press is the glue that binds a community together today and which ultimately becomes a historical record of our past and heritage.
The Kingfisher Times & Free Press provides local coverage of Hennessey, Cashion, Dover, Okarche and Lomega that otherwise would not be available. For all of us residing in the rural communities of Kingfisher County, the Kingfisher Times & Free Press provides us with our hometown newspaper.
Most importantly, the Kingfisher Times & Free Press binds Kingfisher County as a community, the larger community that all of us belong. Otherwise we would not be able to know our neighbors.
The Kingfisher Times and Free Press provides a sharing of problems. The Kingfisher Times & Free Press provides a sharing of successful efforts to solve those problems. The Kingfisher Times & Free Press documents the progress of all county rural communities and provides a sharing of knowledge within the Kingfisher County so we can learn from others.
The Kingfisher Times & Free Press provides news information originating outside of Kingfisher County but which impacts all Kingfisher County rural communities. There is no other source for this type of information.
Without the Times & Free Press, it would be like flying an airplane without any instruments.
On a personal note, there is no doubt the community of Hennessey agrees with me whole heartedly when I say we in Hennessey are so very grateful to the Kingfisher Times & Free Press for adding Barbara Walter to your staff to cover Hennessey news.
A long overdue thank you,
Richard Simunek
