Together We Are Strong
We have spent the last few weeks exploring the effort of Unity above Self in America (UaSiA) and how it impacts Gary Reid’s question of “So what do we do now?”
He posed this serious question after Tom Coburn’s passing.
This week we wrap all that into a direct answer.
Here is what we do now. We recognize that our nation is in grave peril due to out of control spending.
We face the truth that says shame on us for making it easier on ourselves, knowing we are creating a dangerous and weak condition that our children and grandchildren will have to face if we won’t.
We realize we own this country; Congress works for us and we have the ability to do something profound.
We embrace our Christian faith as the true source of our strength.
We use the Biblical principles of truth, righteousness, and sacrifice to fight the human greed at work in our nation, that has led us to this perilous place.
We come together as a people to embrace a non-partisan plan that already exists.
We simply confront individual Congress members one at a time and ask them to pledge their support for the “No Budget, No Pay” act.
It is a simple, effective, non-partisan and grassroots plan.
We can do it.
Together we are strong. It is our job. It is a miniscule ask of each of us to protect us from the ultimate internal threat of self-destruction President Lincoln warned us of, compared to the willingness our young people offer by risking and sometimes giving their lives, to protect us in the military from external threats.
Together we can do it! You can help! We all have a duty to protect our nation.
Writing for our common good on behalf of Unity above Self in America,
