LETTER TO THE EDITOR
Vote and feel good
Thank you Father, mother, the Great I Am for this good day. Our daily bread.
Father may President Trump have a vision. May he have a dream of being a black man in America now. May he be a black man for one day (without committing suicide).
May he see firsthand how a white man will mistreat you (not all of them, only the racists). May he witness his brother being killed by a white man. And he is helpless to help him.
If he tries to help his brother, he must get over his fear of being shot by a white policeman.
A tear will come down his eyes with hate and anger. Feel the pain and call for your mother. Police are known to shoot a black woman eight times while she sleeps.
Mr. President, I love you as a child of God.
I hate how you treat colored people. When you mistreat anyone for their color, remember you shall reap what you sow. I shall vote this November.
Please Mr. President, be careful in Tulsa on June 19 [Ed. note: When Mr. Gracey penned this letter, President Trump’s campaign rally was still slated for June 19, but was later changed to June 20 after this letter was submitted]. Ninety-nine years ago, Tulsa had the worst race riot in the history of this world.
Over 3,000 ghosts of the riot shall be waiting for you. No one warned JFK about Dallas. Blood cries up for justice.
Father, may no harm come to none. Vote and feel good.
Simon Gracey
