Letter to the editor
Thank you Father, mother, the Great I Am for this day that thy has made. I shall be glad in it. May the words I write be alright in thy sight, my judge and my king.
I Kings 18:17-18 - When he saw Elijah, he said to him, “Is that you, you troubler of Israel?”
“I have not made trouble for Israel,” Elijah replied. “But you and you father’s family have. You have abandoned the Lord’s commands and have followed the Baals.”
Elijah boldly challenged King Ahab to denounce his idolatry and rejection of God’s commandments, then called the nation to repentance.
The name “Elijah” means “Yahweh is my God.” Elijah the Tishbite (see I Kings 18:1) was a native of the village Tishbe, located in the region of Gilead, eastern side of the Jordan River.
Elijah’s prophecy of a three-year drought had come true. Ahab and Queen Jezebel had sinned, which caused drought and spiritual decline.
Thank you Father for Brother Elijah. He challenged the king and queen. He showed no fear with the words of God our Father.
Father I am asking all my Republican friends to open their heart to the truth.
Joe Biden is our new president. He won fair and square.
Please Republicans, do not return to Jim Crow. Civil rights have been paid with the blood of the saints.
May we repent and go forward. Let none turn around like Lot’s wife and turn to salt. Turn to Jesus now.
