While I appreciate all that the Kingfisher Government is doing to make our city a place for new residents to want to come to,  I believe we need to concentrate on the future of Kingfisher by putting concentration into our children.

There is literally nothing for our children to do if they are not active in school activities or involved in sports.

There needs to be a recreation center or something of that sort for kids and teens to go to after school. With summer coming up we are going to have kids with nothing to do with their time.  If you go on the second Tuesday of every month to the courthouse in the mornings you will see a bunch of children in trouble with the law.  I believe this is mostly in part due to nothing being offered for them to do.  Let’s take the time to discuss this and start putting things into effect for our future  “for our kids”.
