Wrecker service provides helping hand

By

On Thursday, May 22, my husband and I were at the Grimes Cemetery east of Kingfisher decorating graves.

As we were leaving, we backed around and drove off into very soft ground and got stuck.

Realizing we were not going to be able to get out, my husband walked out to the road and tried to flag down someone to help us.

Three trucks drove right on by.

I called the Kingfisher County Courthouse to ask who I could call to help us. They gave me the number of M6 Wrecker & Recovery.

This nice young man answered my call and after I explained my 92-yearold husband got his pickup- truck struck, he said he would be right out.

He came and pulled us out.

Visiting with my husband, he found out my husband served in the Navy during the Korean War. He said he had a 92-year-old uncle who was also a Korean veteran.

When we asked how much we owed him, he exclaimed there was “no charge.”

We failed to get this kind young man’s name, but would like to thank him for showing respect and kindness to us at a very upsetting time.

Again, thank you and God bless you!

Respectfully,

Archie and Mary Ellen Jones El Reno
