Radical left exultant over David Koch’s death
We knows that many Democrats are not radical leftists but most radical leftists seem to be Democrats. Billionaire Libertarian philanthropist David Koch died of cancer recently. That event set the left wingnuts off on a flurry of celebration. Those on the left expressing happiness over Koch’s passing included American sportswriter Charles Pierce, who suggested his corpse be dropped “into the Amazon rainforest fires,” and Rob Sheridan, an American graphic designer and photographer, who tweeted that he hoped Koch “suffered” as he died. Kevin Gosztola, Shadowproof managing editor, tweeted that the Koch family should “drop his body out of (his) luxury jet into blazing Amazon rainforest in Brazil.” CNN commentator Keith Boykin said Koch had used “dark money to support right-wing causes and Republican candidates for office,” reported Shelby Talcott in a Daily Signal column. Frederick Joseph, writer and founder of “We Have Stories,” tweeted that Koch was “pure evil” and added that “the world is a better place with him gone.” Joseph also wrote the death was cause for a “celebration.” “But imagine the turn up when orange satan is taken back to hell,” Joseph said in another tweet, likely referring to President Donald Trump,” he wrote. British political journalist Mehdi Hasan mentioned David Koch’s beliefs on climate change and suggested headlines on his death should refer to the billionaire as a “climate denier.” On HBO’s “Real Time” on Friday night, Bill Maher said Koch and his brother, Charles, “has done more than anybody to fund climate science deniers for decades.” Hasan added that “his long-term legacy” will be “funding the effort to downplay an existential threat to all of us.”
Stalinist Attitude Displayed
The last comment indicates the Stalinist attitude of many on the left in America: “If you don’t agree with us, you are evil.” Then when, and if, they gain power, they will punish the disobedient. Stalin, the Russian dictator, sent those who even breathed a dissent from the party (his) line to forced labor camps and even to death. The historical evidence is abundant on that score. Of interest is that Koch was in favor of same sex marriage and he wasn’t pro life. That separated him from a majority of Republicans. But he didn’t heel to the leftist philosophy on every issue so he was “evil,” according to the zanies. Many of today’s Socialist Bernie Sanders supporters are millennials or Z generation members. That means that they are used to having everything given to them so the government (their new parents) should continue to provide them everything they want or need “free.” If they are successful in fundamentally transforming America into a totally socialist economy they won’t realize what they’re smelling until they step in it. A published AXIOS poll determined that 73.2 percent of Millennials and Z Generation members support government-provided health care, 67.1 percent wanted government provided tuition-free college, 49.6 percent said they would prefer to live in a socialist country, 43.1 percent approve abolishing ICE. Yet 71.2 percent agree high earnings are the result of free enterprise and 86.5 percent said the government should “allow” private insurance. Regarding the left’s comments about dropping Koch’s remains in the Brazilian rainforest, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro suggested Wednesday that non-governmental organizations could be torching the Amazon rainforest to embarrass his government after he cut their funding. Farmers in some areas organize “fire days” to take advantage of lax regulatory enforcement, according to a local outlet. Activists argue the Brazilian president is distracting from his poor oversight. Brazil obviously has its own pack of leftists, who oppose the president’s attempts to lift bureaucratic restrictions on the nation’s producers. Here’s one possible explanation of the Brazilian fires: it is the dry season in Brazil.
Justice Ginsburg active after cancer treatment
So far, we haven’t heard any on the right cheer the news that Supreme Court Justice Ginsburg is battling cancer. While the right disagrees with Justice Ginsburg’s political philosophy, they don’t wish her harm. In fact, many wish her well and a speedy recovery. People across the political spectrum admire her grit and her adherence to her principles and beliefs. We admire Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She is a role model for women of all ages. She has proven time and again that women are as capable as men in many areas and maybe more so. The tough old lady (she’s 86) resumed her public schedule last week immediately after completing a round of radiation therapy for pancreatic cancer. “It was beyond my wildest imagination that I would one day become the notorious RBG,” the justice said, according to local press. “I am now 86 years old, yet people of all ages want to take their picture with me. Amazing,” Ginsburg said in an appearance at the Buffalo, N.Y., University School of Law where she received an honorary doctorate of laws.
The justice has navigated a host of health problems in recent months. Ginsburg fractured three ribs after falling in her chambers at the high court in November and had cancerous nodules removed from her left lung the following month.
The Supreme Court will begin hearing cases again on Oct. 7.
One of her primary contributions as a justice is that she makes all on the court write with a sharper pen – greater logic.
