As I expected the national left-wing media is making every action by President Trump to improve (save) our nation, a grandstanding opportunity for the Marxist-globalist Democrat leadership.

The Left is continuing its long-held belief that if it tells the same lie long enough, people will believe it.

The totalitarian mindset is that you MUST believe. Kevin McCullough (yes he’s conservative – meaning he has common sense) expressed some thoughts along this line in a column on the Townhall.com site recently.

In his column entitled, “Why Dems’ rage doesn’t matter,” McCullough called attention to a hearing in Congress featuring Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and a few of the Democrat leftist.

McCullough started this way: “What happened in Congress this week wasn’t oversight— it was an embarrassment. It was a living, breathing, live-streamed example of why Americans are fed up with the political class, and why the people are rallying around leaders who actually fight for them.”

He followed this with: “You’d think when a sitting cabinet secretary shows up to testify before Congress—especially one fighting for better healthcare access—you might get a serious, substantive conversation. But you’d be wrong. Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. showed up prepared to discuss budgets, programs and patient care. Instead, he was met with a political drive-by by Sen. Patty Murray, who decided to exploit the story of a cancer-stricken woman for the sake of partisan optics.

Kennedy, to his immense credit, didn’t play along. He called it what it was: “You don’t care about Natalie,” he told her point-blank. And he was right. Because if Murray had actually cared, she wouldn’t have weaponized a private citizen’s suffering just to take a shot at someone doing the work. She would have worked with Kennedy to help her.

“That’s the difference. Kennedy is doing the job. The Democrats are doing theater.”

Then he turned to the House: “Over in the House, Secretary (of Homeland Security) Kristi Noem was grilled by none other than Eric Swalwell—yes, the same Eric Swalwell who spent years pretending to be a serious member of Congress while entangled with a literal Chinese spy. He’s suddenly worried about ‘misinformation’ because a deportation post might’ve had a watermark on it? Give me a break.”

McCullough pointed out that Noem didn’t flinch. “She stood firm on her decision to deport Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an illegal alien with a criminal record. And when Swalwell got cute—waving his arms and claiming his ‘bulls--- detector’ was going off, Noem calmly pointed out what every sane person watching already knew: this wasn’t about facts or policy. It was about Swalwell trying to score a viral clip for MSNBC.”

McCullough summarized the Democrat plan this way: “The reason Democrats loathe Kennedy and Noem has nothing to do with budgets or deportations. It’s because both of them are doing exactly what voters asked for: enforcing the law, protecting families, and refusing to bow to the media circus.”

Townhall.com, which operates completely on private donations, attempts to counteract the bombardment of anti-American garbage coming from the so-called major media and I appreciate their efforts and wish I had the funds to boost their efforts substantively.

Elsewhere on the site Columnist Derek Hunter suggests it’s time to prosecute Democrats who break the law.

He was referring to a band of Democrat House members who showed up at an ICE holding facility fore illegal aliens.

He told how the House members, along with the mayor of Newark, N.J., pretended they wanted to do “oversight” of the facility but showed up with an entourage and multiple camera crews.

Then he explained: “When guards did not allow this parade of idiots into a high security holding facility, the Democrats did what 3-year-olds do: they threw a fit and started shoving the guards. They’re lucky they weren’t shot, and the mayor was arrested.”

Only members of Congress are permitted to enter such facilities, not mayors, activists with them or some random boob with a camera, Hunter explained.

New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, whose main purpose with the current Democrat leadership must be to make the rest of the party leadership appear less stupid, threatened the Department of Homeland Security if they dared arrest the law-breakers.

“Immediately, these terrorists attacking guards simply doing their jobs screamed that they were the victims to the cameras conveniently there to capture what they had planned,” Hunter added, then wrote: “Even Nancy Pelosi’s puppet in House Democrat leadership, Hakeem Jeffries, is talking tough. “We’re not going to be intimidated by their tactics to try to force principled opposition from not standing up to their extremism,” he whined to the press the other day. “When Nancy gives her pet enough leash to make a fool of himself you know it’s serious.”

On the same site historian- columnist Mark Lewis asks this question: “Why do Democrats protect criminals?”

“I understand the ideology behind it—more on that later in this article—but, as an American, it IS difficult to comprehend the mentality that wants countless millions of people illegally in the country, and forcing hard-working, taxpaying Americans to pay billions of their dollars to support these criminals.

Later he adds: “Most rank-and-file Democrats have no clue as to the ideology behind why the Democratic Party leadership, with its Marxist, globalist philosophy, is pushing this. And that’s even more frightening. One can argue ideology with an Obama or Gates, but how do you convince an ignorance and stupidity that won’t even listen? Most ‘common people’ Democrats have no idea what this is truly all about. They just swallow whatever their masters tell them and follow along like sheep.

“…This is what the American education system and cultural zeitgeist led by the media have produced. After years and years and years of the Left, of Democrats, shouting racism and sexism and Nazism and “America is unfair,” countless millions of people have absorbed it, believe it, and vote for Democrats. And, of course, the older Americans who grew up in World War II, the patriotic generation, are dying off. And their children are getting older. I’m 70 years old, and I suspect many of my readers are near my age or older. What’s the country going to be like in 20 years when WE’RE dead? Well, thankfully, you and I won’t care. But it’s a frightening thought— what our children and grandchildren are going to have to face if this horror isn’t destroyed immediately. And, sadly, it isn’t going to be. The rot is too deep.

“Propaganda works on people who don’t think. And the Left has been propagandizing Americans, successfully, for over a generation now. And hence, we have today’s Democratic Party.

“The leadership, of course, knows what it is doing. It has accepted the atheistic, Marxist ideology with all that entails—its anti-Christian morality, and socialist, government-dominated economy.”

••• While many reading this might not be around to suffer the consequences of a socialist-communist dictatorship, their children and grandchildren would bear the brunt of it, should today’s leftists be successful.
