Secession plan; Drop Northeast and West Coast

There are secession rumors going on across the nation.

Before anyone claims it’s Republicans talking that way, glance at the election map.

States loving the constitution - the nation’s rule book-, are basically located in the Heartland, many of them adjoining each other. It’s already a natural country.

On the other hand, states unhappy with a constitutionally-governed country are located on the fringe of the United States of America - a small area in New England, which has an unconscionable presence in the U.S. Senate, and the rim on the West Coast.

Even interior areas of the West Coast states - California, Oregon and Washington - are looking at the possibility of annexing to states to their east. Those adjoining states are much more conservative than the massive cities on the coast, which control the political climate of the entire states.

The Northeast and Pacific rim could annex to Canada, which is already socialist. Few in God’s country would care. In fact, good riddance.

Then, there is the possibility that the center of Canada - Saskatchewan and Alberta provinces - might be pleased to join the heartland nation. From conversations we’ve had in the past with residents of those provinces, they’re not enamored with the socialist government, they have to live and work under.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who seems to think he is entitled to the job by divine right (like a medieval king) isn’t popular with western residents we’ve met.

The people from that area are more like us than Yankees are (except they talk a little funny). So many of them spend their winters in the U.S., they are already curing that problem. And that doesn’t account for the many Canadians who come to the U.S. to receive medical care that isn’t available to them under Canada’s socialized medicine.

Such changes sound like a marriage made in Heaven.

Of course, there would be adjustments but reasonable people can do that.

An added advantage to the switch is that we could get rid of Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer in one fell swoop, not to mention Joe Biden and the wild-eyed California lefty who is poised to jump into the presidency once Joe is booted, Kamala Harris.

With the new administrative slate scheduled to take office Jan. 20, it appears that Biden with all his faults is the lesser of two evils.

Many changes in offing - all bad

The reasonable policies enacted by President Trump are in deep jeopardy with the installation of Biden-Harris.

The gains made in international affairs by President Trump have already been targeted for elimination, including the Iran Nuclear Deal.

James Carafano, foreign affairs specialist for the Heritage Center, lays it out this way in these take-aways:

• If America rejoined the Iran deal, Iran would not be held accountable for past cheating and blatant violations of the deal.

• The process of normalization between the Arab nations and Israel, without the guarantee of U.S. engagement and support in pushing back against Iran, could well die.

• The Arab nations will likely start hedging against the declining influence of Washington. They will increasingly look to cut deals with China and Russia.

If you’re tired of hearing conservatives blamed by the major media and social media for rioting at the capitol, Lora Ries and Steven Bucci of the Daily Signal point out that the rioting tactics strongly resemble those used in 2020 riots across the nation and that Pro-Trump protesters at the capitol were peaceful both at his speech and when he told them to go home.

They wrote:

While Black Lives Matter protests have sometimes turned violent, and Antifa has a long history of association with violence, pro-Trump demonstrations have mostly been peaceful in the past. This may have put the Capitol Police in an erroneously relaxed posture.

Then they add:

Now-resigned Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund stated that the Capitol attack was unlike anything he had ever experienced in his 30 years of law enforcement in Washington. Rioters attacked Capitol Police officers and other uniformed law enforcement officers with metal pipes, chemical irritants, and other weapons.

Sund stated, “They were determined to enter into the Capitol Building by causing great damage.”

They add:

“Slowly, information is coming forward that bad actors at prior riots were involved at the Capitol riot as well. Some rioters wore the typical black bloc and helmets, others donned Trump paraphernalia to blend in. At a minimum, Wednesday’s assault was fully informed by the lessons of previous actions.”

The violent ones should be prosecuted - whoever they are.
