This question is so vague and poorly worded.

Mostly I am concerned about battered women and children. This is a crime that does not go away without therapy.

I do not believe that it will go away by just spending time in prison.

I’ve seen it and he/she will be sitting in prison becoming more furious for the person putting him/her in prison and waiting for the day he/she can get out to get revenge.

Then the person will get another trial for imprisonment again and has the possible ability to beat the crime on a technicality.

Then will do it again.
