President Trump derailed elite’s gravy train
We told our explanation as to why President Trump is so despised by the elite in this space Sunday: They felt they had been betrayed by one they thought should have been their own.
Columnist Kurt Schlichter explains it more succinctly: “President Trump derailed their gravy train.”
We wish we had thought of that. It explains the left’s dysfunctional hatred perfectly.
It also explains why the left (the Progressives) are so intent on undoing the 2016 election.
They want to send the President back to New York in such disgrace that no one like him will ever consider running for president again.
Left Mad Because Normals Noticed How Bad They Are
Schlichter adds:
“Instead of focusing on not being terrible at their job of running America’s institutions, our elitists have decided that the real problem is us Normals being angry about how they are terrible at their job of running America’s institutions. So, let’s imagine that they fi nally vanquish Trump, though every time they come up against him they end up dragging themselves home like Ned Beatty after a particularly tough canoe trip.”
Here’s Why Left Wants Guns
The left is determined to turn American citizens into Third World serfs that they can order around without fear of reprisal.
Hint: That’s why they want the guns so badly.
Their position on abortion lets you know they aren’t concerned about children (or anyone else) killed by shooters.
Those are just ideal excuses for big public relations fl areups to confuse the unwary about guns shooting people. Note: Guns are inanimate objects that don’t shoot people, just deranged individuals who are, as our memory serves, mostly of the leftist or other soulless inclination do that. It’s also worth mentioning that most of shooting deaths occur in areas with the most stringent gun control rules. (Think Chicago.)
Borrowing again from Schlichter as to the left’s motives: “The fact is that what they want to do is go back to the way it was before Trump, back to 2015, aka the year 1 BT – Before Trump. Back then, progressive Democrats got their bizarre social pathologies normalized. Moderate Democrats got money, power and an open season on the local talent. Corporate types represented largely by squishy Republicans got globalism and the ability to ship our jobs out and import Third World serfs in. And the fake conservatives of Conservative, Inc., got to cash in without the necessity of actually conserving anything.
The only people that the old system didn’t work for were the American people.”
Schlichter is a resident of California where he is a successful trial attorney and author of books that the left deplores.
Left Looking for Anything to Continue Anti-Trump Drive
Maybe the fact that columnists such as Schlichter live on the left coast are so pointed in their criticisms of the left is that they get to see the results of leftist policies up close. California has been on fire for weeks due to the policies of the pre-modern government there that is zealously trying to return it to the dark ages.
Meanwhile in Washington, California Congressman Adam Schiff continues to attempt to find something that will stick against the president.
The Mueller investigation was a total failure. Actually worse for the left than that because of its boomerang effect that revealed that the left was actually doing the underhanded stuff it was accusing the president and conservatives of.
It’s latest ploy was to pull an “anonymous” whistleblower out of its bag of dirty tricks who would convince the nation that President Trump coerced the Ukraine president to resume an investigation of corruption there that implicated former Vice President Joe Biden, who is seeking the Democrat presidential nomination for the 2020 race.
‘Whistleblower’ Turns Out to Be Leftist Plant
Sorry, Progs. The Whistleblower turns out to be a leftist ruling class prodigy who made his mark by spying on Americans for the CIA and Schiff a noted columnist noted. Free Pressers tells the story this way:
Did ‘Biden’s point man on Ukraine’ seek to infl uence 2016 election?
The 33-year-old CIA employee (whose name, Eric Ciaramella, was revealed by Paul Sperry of RealClearInvestigations last week) has been “using his government position for partisan, political ends,” Dan Flynn wrote for The American Spectator on Nov. 1.
Ciaramella is a picture of elitist privilege, having “graduated from a high school that costs $30,000 a year to attend,” Flynn noted, adding that “a few years after graduation from that tony private high school, the youngster estimated to its alumni magazine of trips to 28 different countries (he admits he lost count).”
He received his undergraduate degree from Yale and obtained a master’s from Harvard.
“When others provide you with the best education and pricey junkets to obscure parts of the globe, not getting the president you asked for might come as a terrible blow,” Flynn wrote. “So Ciaramella sought to rectify this injustice by anonymously peddling secondhand gossip — false in large part — designed to instigate another round of impeachment discussions. He did so by first going to Congressman Adam Schiff. When you seek to report a federal crime, go to the FBI. When you seek to gin up political trouble, go to Adam Schiff.”
Ciaramella, or “pajama boy” as Rush Limbaugh has dubbed him, worked with a Democratic National Committee operative who dug up dirt on the Trump campaign during the 2016 election, according to Sperry’s report. Sperry wrote that Ciaramella invited the operative “into the White House for meetings, former White House colleagues said. The operative, Alexandra Chalupa, a Ukrainian-American who supported Hillary Clinton, led an effort to link the Republican campaign to the Russian government. ‘He knows her. He had her in the White House,’ said one former co-worker, who requested anonymity to discuss the sensitive matter.”
Politico detailed the collusion between Ciaramella’s DNC operative pal and Ukraine in a lengthy report by Kenneth Vogel, now with the New York Times, and David Stern, who resides in Kiev. “Ukrainian government offi cials tried to help Hillary Clinton and undermine Trump by publicly questioning his fi tness for office,” they write. “They also disseminated documents implicating a top Trump aide in corruption and suggested they were investigating the matter, only to back away after the election. And they helped Clinton’s allies research damaging information on Trump and his advisers, a Politico investigation found.”
Flynn asked: “Why did John Brennan assign Ciaramella to the National Security Council? What role, if any, did Ciaramella take in this particular collusion involving Chalupa and a foreign government to influence the outcome of a U.S. presidential election? Why did Sen. Rand Paul describe Ciaramella as Vice President Joe Biden’s point man on Ukraine?”
The lawyers representing Ciaramella describe him as an “apolitical, civil servant,” insisting “the identity of the whistleblower is irrelevant.”
Flynn wrote: “This is a lie. The whistleblower’s identity matters precisely because his past partisan behavior, unbecoming of a civil servant, grabbed the attention of journalists and coaxed the White House to force him out — all several years before Paul Sperry identifi ed him as the ‘whistleblower.’ ”
Flynn concluded: “Call this a coup d’état. Call it a putsch. Call him Eric Ciaramella. Just don’t call him ‘apolitical’ without an accompanying laugh track.”
