Our government is so old-fashioned and out-of-date.

Ask any really cool, modern government insider (also known as elite) and he can give you a complete run-down as to why we need a “living” constitution that can be changed at the drop of a hat to meet their want of the moment.

An old thing like the United States’ Constitution with its checks on inappropriate behavior – not only on our betters but for everyone – are darned inconvenient for wheeler-dealers who need to break the rules to gain a few million more dollars, or maybe pull an Epstein trick or two.

Normal people should understand that up-to-date Swamp critters need more leeway than that provided by a government founded on morality and fairness.

Have we lost faith in our system of government? No, just the current crop of self-serving leftists who are working desperately to turn us into something resembling California, Venezuela, Cuba, China, North Korea or other socialist-communist regimes.

We have been asked why would elected representatives want to turn the U.S. into a socialist dictatorship.

Could it be that they don’t want any restrictions on themselves, just us? Could it be about the money they could get by underhanded deals and the power that would provide them?

Maybe, they just don’t want normal people doing anything without their okay.

There was a time when people respected their elected government representatives but eyes have been opened in the last few years.

People are not as stupid as the creeps in Washington would like to think.

If you thought that the Deep State was a fi ction, former CIA acting Director John McLaughlin cleared that up last week when he expressed gratitude for the deep state and its effort to get President Trump impeached.

The Washington Examiner carried an article headlined “Thank God for the deep state:’ former CIA chief says anti-Trump forces “responding to a deeper call.”

It read:

McLaughlin, who was the acting director in 2004, embraced the idea of a “deep state” with the intent of ending the Trump presidency at an event on Wednesday hosted by the Hayden Center.

“There is something unique you have to agree that now the impeachment inquiry is under way, sparked by a complaint from someone within the intelligence community, it feeds the president’s concern, an often-used term about a ‘deep state’ being there to take him out,” Margaret Brennan, the moderator for the event hosted, asked McLaughlin.

“Thank God for the ‘deep state,’” he responded.

McLaughlin went on to praise the intelligence community whistleblower who came forward to fi le a complaint regarding Trump’s July 25 phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, which led to the impeachment proceedings that are currently going on in the House of Representatives.

Who can argue with a former member of the Obama administration intelligence network, whose attempt to destroy the Trump presidency began even before the inauguration has been documented? (Sarcasm intended.)

Our government was designed to make elected officials public servants, not a ruling caste, especially not entitled moral scum (Think Jeffrey Epstein, the poster boy of the elite whose “suicide” in a government prison has been challenged by an independent pathologist hired by Epstein’s brother).

Why are left-wing legislators and deep state insiders so opposed to President Trump, whose presidency has revealed the lies and presumption of swamp denizens?

Their sweetheart deal is threatened.

This was not supposed to happen, you know.

Hillary Clinton, the leading light of the Swamp, was supposed to win the 2016 election and sweep all the dirt under the rug.

That’s why the leftists are so intent on attempting to influence the voting public that President Trump has done something (anything) wrong. He’s breathing and that’s cause enough for the Swamp.
