Left’s screaming ignored; fraud revealed
The American Left is screaming “bloody murder” over its nefarious schemes to hide waste of taxpayers’ money as revealed by Elon Musk’s DOGE team.
The Left may scream even louder when Kash Patel is confirmed as FBI director and begins to reveal the deeds of that formerly respected agency.
Tyler O’Neil, senior editor of The Daily Signal, publication of the Heritage Foundation, recently cited numerous cases of waste and abuse in a piece headlined “Millions for DEI and Climate: Here’s Where DOGE Found Waste and Abuse in Federal Grants.”
Some of the waste exposed in documents reveal that the Department of Defense paid $2.3 million “to support its virtual reality training course featuring a DEI ‘avatar’ at Air University at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama.
“In line with the command’s effort to incorporate digital-age technology across the command, the Leading Inclusively Virtual Experience, or LIVE, program is a modernized tool that consists of a mixed virtual reality experience that uses a combination of interactive scenarios with authentic, real-time dialogue to challenge individuals to engage in difficult diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) conversations,” the grant states.
DOGE, a temporary agency headed by Elon Musk, aims to clean up the federal government ahead of the July 4, 2026, deadline terminating the agency.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told the press last week that the White House would provide screenshots of the contracts DOGE had unearthed that demonstrate the waste, fraud, and abuse it has uncovered in the federal government.
The DEI movement relies on critical race theory, the idea that America is systemically racist against black people and that racial preferences for minorities are essential to correct historic injustices. The Trump administration has declared that DEI programs violate civil rights laws by judging people on the basis of skin color.
Another contract shows that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office paid $2.86 million for a “public relations firm contract” for the Council for Inclusive Innovation. The performance of the contract began in March 2023 and was scheduled to run into March 2026 before the Trump administration canceled it.
According to the Patent and Trademark Office, the Council for Inclusive Innovation grew from a report finding that “women and minorities are underrepresented as inventors and as patentees named on U.S.-granted patents.” The council aimed to “support a national strategy for increased participation of underrepresented groups in innovation.”
Another contract revealed that the U.S. Forest Service paid $35,338.58 for “Sri Lanka climate change mitigation, adaptation, and resilience coordinator services.” The contract started in September 2023 and ran until Jan. 30.
While it may be noble to pay for Sri Lanka, a country off the coast of India, to beef up its infrastructure to face natural disasters, this grant follows the logic of climate alarmism, which attributes any natural disaster to the supposed ill effects of human beings burning fossil fuels. Furthermore, Americans may be distraught to see their tax dollars funding such projects across the world, especially funds from the Forest Service, which should be taking care of America’s forests, not shoveling money to Sri Lanka.
Another contract revealed that the Department of Labor paid $4.1 million for “diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) consultation services and training for the Job Corps program.” The contract started in June 2022 and the Trump administration terminated it on Jan. 22.
The grants represent a few isolated examples of the waste and abuse in the federal government.
DOGE has highlighted how one agency in particular, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), directed Americans’ tax dollars to promote “diversity, equity, and inclusion” and transgender orthodoxy internationally. USAID has often allied with the organization launched by Hungarian American billionaire and leftwing donor George Soros, the Open Society Foundations. USAID has directed money to the same entities abroad that Open Society supports, and even feeds former USAID staff to the foundation.
“Open Society, now run by Soros’ son Alex, is a major force in my book, ‘The Woketopus: The Dark Money Cabal Manipulating the Federal Government,’ O’Neil writes. The book reveals how the Left’s dark money network funds a system of left-wing nonprofits that staffed and advised the Biden administration,” O’Neil writes.
As the Capital Research Center’s Parker Thayer has revealed, USAID awarded more than $4.2 billion in grants to “miscellaneous foreign awardees.” USAID may censor the name of grant recipients for security purposes, but it strains credulity that the agency truly needs to hide the recipients of $4.2 billion of taxpayer funding.
President Donald Trump and DOGE currently face lawsuits from some of the same organizations I exposed in “The Woketopus,” particularly unions like the AFL-CIO and its affiliate, the American Federation of Government Employee,” O’Neil said.
Meanwhile, 64% of Washington, D.C.-based federal employees who voted for Kamala Harris say they won’t obey a lawful Trump order if they consider it bad policy.… One thing I’ve noticed after a few years in the newspaper business is that Washington, D.C. changes people. Maybe it’s because printing money seems to be so easy there. If we did it, we would be counterfeiting, a crime.
Here’s another headline from The Daily Signal: Elon Musk is far more popular than George Soros, new poll finds.
While everyday citizens praise Elon Musk and his DOGE auditing, the Left is scared to death about their secrets being revealed.
It’s about time the light of day shone on the leftist bureaucracy in D.C.
On the popularity point, I’d think any person off the street would be more popular than Soros who has been hard at work for years to destroy America and its freedoms.
Why would anyone who is already a billionaire want to undermine an entire nation? Hmm.
On another point, O’Neil asks in a piece headlined “ Immigration- Industrial complex struggling to keep their lights on after Trump decree:” “Did you know that your tax dollars have been propping up a system of nonprofit organizations that house and transport illegal aliens across the country?…” Another O’Neil column quotes Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, who slammed (USAID), which was weaponized during the Biden Administration to fund leftwing projects and progressive operatives.”
The same column mentioned USAID’s Insane Priorities condemned by White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, who identified leftwing projects and progressive operatives, mentioning “$1.5 million to advance DEI in Serbia’s workplaces, $70,000 for a production of a DEI musical in Ireland, $47,000 for a transgender opera in Colombia, $32,000 for a transgender comic book in Peru.”
The list goes on agonizingly long.
While the Deep State and the media continue pounding out hatred toward Trump’s housecleaning efforts, everyday citizens are ignoring them. They’ve learned they are fakes.
Is it any wonder our nation is $37 trillion in debt.
President Trump undoubtedly arrived in the nick of time.
