Why do Democrats push ‘fakey’ women?

A part of this column in the Sunday edition dealt with Jasmine Crockett, Democrat representative from South Dallas, who called President Trump dumb and a dupe and a “threat to America.”

A “Twitchy” column by one Sam J.(a lady) on Townhall. com recently reported some additional information on Crockett starting with this: “What IS it with Democrats and pushing fake women? Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez grew up in a reasonably comfortable suburb and was nicknamed Sandy, not Alexandria. She was a bartender and supposedly earned her economics degree from Boston University. Like Sandy, Jasmine Crockett isn’t precisely who and what she keeps putting out there ...

Todd Starnes, an email contributor, added this info, adding to the revelation: “Jasmine Crockett wants you to think she’s from the hood, that she grew up on the streets. The exact opposite is true. She attended an exclusive day school where tuition is nearly $35,000 per year. She also attended Rhodes College, a private school where tuition is nearly $55,000 a year. She’s cosplaying a gangsta.”

Another email from “Devia” added: ‘No one I know in Dallas voted for her. (George) Soros flooded Texas with millions. She’s a Soros pick.”

Absolutely startling. And there I was starting to believe she started from nothing and worked herself up to national prominence on her own.

Of course, I’m easily fooled. I did notice in her attack on President Trump she used the term “attorney generals” instead of the correct title, Attorneys General.

But we all get in a hurry and make mistakes sometimes. I can’t help wondering if Jasmine was among the Democrat attendees at the Trump speech to a joint session of Congress, you know the people who sat on their hands with their eyes blank when they were holding up little unreadable signs on ping-pong paddles, apparently in opposition to everything in Trump’s 41 minute talk.

People in Kingfisher County I’ve talked to considered it a positive speech and demonstrated the president’s positive goals for America and its citizens.

One commented that Americans might take note of one thing about President Trump, “When he says he’ll do something, he does it.”

One Texas Democrat, Rep. Al Green of Houston,Texas, had to be removed from the site for his incivility.

Jacob Adams, journalism fellow at The Daily Signal, publication of the conservative think tank, The Heritage Foundation, had some thoughts on this: “Americans witnessed an unprecedented display of incivility during President Donald Trump’s address to a joint session of Congress on Tuesday night when Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, had to be physically removed from the House chamber after disrupting the president’s speech.

“Now, the Houston-area congressman has been censured by his colleagues, on a vote of 224 to 198.

“Ten Democrats joined with House Republicans on Thursday to censure Green for his violation of House rules, and the House Freedom Caucus announced a bill to strip Green of his committee assignments. The House censure is a formal condemnation by the legislative body, but it does not revoke privileges from Green.”

Well, Green got his 30 seconds of notoriety from the incident. The cameras turned from Trump to Green when he was interrupting and as he was escorted from the room.

House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., told The Daily Signal and other conservative social media influencers that Green was “belligerent” and “so disrespectful.” No Republicans had to be removed by the sergeant-at-arms during then-President Joe Biden’s address in 2021 or his subsequent State of the Union addresses.

Green, 77, repeatedly shook his cane at Trump before being removed from the House chamber.

“He needed to be censured,” Rep. Andy Harris, R-Md., chairman of the conservative House Freedom Caucus, told The Daily Signal.

“A group of us think it needs to go further than that. I believe we’re going to file (the Freedom Caucus) a bill, I think today or tomorrow that will actually strip him of committees,” Harris explained.

While Democrats were making fools of themselves, the general public approved of Trump’s speech.

Newsweek reported that 76 percent of those watching the speech approved of what Trump said.

To be fair, most of those watching would have been conservatives, certainly not leftists.

A CBS News/YouGov poll surveyed people who planned to watch Trump’s Congress address and then sought their view of the speech immediately after it concluded.

A majority of the people who chose to watch Trump’s speech were Republicans (51 percent), with 27 percent saying they were independents and 20 percent Democrats.

It was amazing to witness the vigor of the president after fending off hostile judges and prosecutors for the past 12 years along with running a pair of campaigns.

He’s 78 but doesn’t let that hold him back. Amazing. And he didn’t rely on notes or a teleprompter.
