Normal people may wonder what the future of a free country might be if a bent-on-destruction Progressive candidate should be elected president next year. Vice President Joe Biden, who might be considered the best of a sorry lot of Democrat candidates for the high office, has now joined the “take all the guns” candidate crowd. He has joined the socialists, sophistry enthusiasts and me-too’ers in thinking Americans are ready just to hand over their weapons to a beneficent federal government that only has our best interests at heart. Ri-i-i-ght. Perhaps the leftists think the country has been ripped so apart by the policies they have instilled in the national fabric over the last few years as they worked to “basically transform America” that normals will go along with them.

Disarming Americans Is Primary Goal

The leftists have decided they and their pet national media have conditioned enough of the country that they can take the next step in disarming you with impunity. Recent mindless shootings have given them another opportunity to try to outlaw guns of law-abiding Americans. The goal is not your safety but power (for them) – to control the “Jesus people” (to them a disparaging term) who are so delusional they think they ought to have the right to make decisions for and about themselves and theirs. Once disarmed, people can kiss good-bye the rest of the Bill of Rights and that Constitution which is out-of-date, anyway, to quote our elitist betters. While a second civil war would undoubtedly be worse than the first, their plan, which could well start one, is a gun owners’ nightmare: just take all the guns. Cautionary note: without citizen-owned guns, there is no possibility of overthrowing a tyrannical government. Our national media, Hollywood and educational institutions have worked for years to convince young people that they don’t have any reason to worry about a government that gives you anything you want –“free!” – and if you don’t accept it you are just plain dumb.

Rewriting History Is In Full Swing

The nation’s history is being rewritten right before your eyes in the name of hate speech, racism, homophobia, Islamophobia – name your flavor. And wouldn’t the left love a Supreme Court that (again) would rubber stamp any leftist agenda suggested. Hence the threats from the Democratic Socialists in Congress that the current Supreme Court must follow their lead or they’ll just add enough new members to the court (pack it) to achieve their goal once they retake control of the Senate and presidency. There would be no more of that nonsense like the Heller decision that stated: “1. The Second Amendment protects an individual right to possess a firearm unconnected with service in a militia, and to use that arm for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home. Pp. 2–53. “(a) The Amendment’s prefatory clause announces a purpose, but does not limit or expand the scope of the second part, the operative clause. The operative clause’s text and history demonstrate that it connotes an individual right to keep and bear arms. Pp. 2–22. “(b) The prefatory clause comports with the Court’s interpretation.” You know, what they had in mind if Hillary Clinton had been elected – as she claims she clearly was, except that awful person, Donald Trump, won the Electoral College. Her claim was based in large part on California returns where there are more voter registrations than citizens.

Electoral College Stands in Way of Left’s Plans

And that’s one more thing they plan to change, enacting the popular vote mechanism that would turn all elections over to a few large cities, thereby ending any influence from the rural states, who, of course, don’t deserve any consideration. Using the “popular vote” method, as proposed by leftists, might well assure the election of the chief executive of their choosing in one election. After that there would be no need for elections. Columnist Kurt Schlichter, who also is an attorney offers this advice: “Here’s the deal. No disarmament ever. Buy guns and ammunition, if you are a law-abiding, healthy adult. Train on them. And be ready, because the minute you disarm you will be a serf. Look at England. Look at Hong Kong. Then get yourself the weapons you need to be a complete American citizen.” It drives would-be dictators crazy that there’s still a 100 million armed citizens out here.

San Francisco says NRA Domestic Terrorist Organization

Now we read that the San Francisco board of supervisors voted unanimously last week to declare the National Rifle Association a “domestic terrorist organization.” On top of all gun owners’ other leftist-designated “sins,” many are now deemed members of a domestic terrorist organization. Many of those gun owners might well try not to step on bugs because they believe in the sanctity of life.
