Zachary Alexander Horton Young, 27, of Kingfisher, passed away unexpectedly Feb. 5, 2021.

He was born Oct. 15, 1993, in Oklahoma City.

Zach is survived by his mother, Kimberly (Bounds) Gibson and husband Johnny of Yukon, and his father David Horton and wife Maureen of Henderson, Nev.; two brothers, Jacob and Kaden, both of Yukon; maternal grandparents Douglas and Carolyn Bounds of Elk City and great-grandmother Lela Bounds, of Canute.

He also leaves behind his aunt Jaime Self and cousins Emiaj and Cahlia; his uncle/bubba Douglas Bounds Jr. and wife Colette and cousins Henry, Grady and Amelia; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Zach was a loving father to his beloved dog, Mary. Their bond was so strong.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Alexander and Nellie Shadid, and great-grandfather, H.B. Bounds.

Zach attended Kingfisher schools and graduated from Okarche High School in 2012.

He continued his education at Redlands Community College and worked towards certifications in welding.

Zach loved welding projects and being outdoors. He loved music and spending time with family and friends.

He was a dreamer and had plans of starting a podcast in the near future.

He was the oldest child, grandchild and great-grandchild. He earned the title of Uncle Cousin Zachby all the young cousins he had.

Zach was loved by so many.

Viewing was 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 1 p.m. at the Yanda & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Yukon, with a private interment
