Kingfisher junior Mia Farrell has picked up another softball honor. The KHS outfielder was selected to the 4A-1 all-district team, it was announced after a meeting of coaches last week. Farrell led the Lady Jackets with a .391 batting average in 2019 and also had a team-high 43 hits. She was second on the team with 28 runs scored and added 10 RBIs. Olivia Wilcox and Macy McCully earned all-district honorable mention. AllthreeofthoseLadyJackets were named Tri-County all-conference players earlier this month. KHS finished the season 16-18, including 2-10 in the district. The district included Newcastle, which eventually won the Class 4A state championship.
