    Cashion Wildcats vs. Chisholm Trailblazers

A balanced attack for Cashion that included solid shooting spelled doom for Chisholm last Friday.

The Wildcats shot better than 50 percent overall and had three players in double figures as they bested Chisholm 71-43 at the Downtown Enid Basketball Festival at the Stride Bank Center.

Already up 35-23 at halftime, Cashion pulled away with a 20-8 spurt in the third quarter.

Chisholm had to deal with Jacob Woody - mostly inside - and a bevy of Wildcats from the outside.

Cashion made 10 of 24 3-pointers, led by Alex Nabavi, who went 3 of 5.

Nabavi scored 13 points, as did Jonah Jenkins, who chipped in a team-high five assists.

Woody led the way with 15 points and nine rebounds. Woody was 5 of 7 from the field on two-point attempts.

Overall, Cashion shot 27 of 50 (54 percent), that included going 14 of 24 (58 percent) in the second half.

Cashion, ranked third in Class 2A, upped its season mark to 14-1.

The Lady Wildcats were able to limit Chisholm to 23 first-half points, but only managed 14.

The scoring struggles continued into the second half, but only for one team.

The Lady Longhorns were led by Tatum Long’s 17 points.

Tatum Sefcik added 12 and Regi Pasby scored 10.
