Cashion’s Caden Harrell highlighted the list of players honored when the A-3 All-District honors were announced last week.

Harrell was named MVP of the district, which Cashion won with a 6-0 record.

The two-way threat led Cashion’s stifl ing defense with 128 tackles while playing linebacker.

That included 12.5 tackles for a loss.

He was also second on the team with 557 rushing yards and led the team with 17 rushing touchdowns.

Harrell added five catches for 97 yards and another score.

He helped Cashion to a 13-1 overall record as the Wildcats fi nished as the 2019 Class A state runners-up.

His teammate, Ryan Baker, was named the Defensive MVP.

A two-way starter up front, Baker had 47 tackles, including 13 tackles for a loss.

Minco’s Parker Winters was named the Offensive MVP.

A number of Cashion players and one from Crescent were named players of the year for their respective positions.

Named were Cashion’s Brandon Collier at offensive line, Sam Brown at cornerback and Hayden Aaron at kicker and Crescent’s Trent Fisher at defensive line.

Also named to the all-district team were:

Cashion

R.J. Roberts, running back; Alex Nabavi, wide receiver; Quinlan Priest and Harley Miller, offensive line; Colton Ogle-tree, defensive line; Bryce Miller, linebacker; and Brexten Green, secondary.

Crescent

Hunter Wilmoth, running back.
