Griffin Lamb carried on Cashion’s tradition of excellent quarterback play on the football field. Off the field, he recently carried on the tradition of moving on to the next level. Griffin, seated center, recently signed to play for Centre College in Danville, Ky. Lamb accounted for more than 2,000 total yards and 30 touchdowns during his senior campaign, one in which Cashion went 11-1 and advanced to the second round of the playoffs. He’s the fifth consecutive Cashion quarterback to move on to the collegiate level joining Cayden Cochran, Jeremy Seaton, Ty Reasnor and Matt Harman. Among those sitting with Lamb are his parents, Todd and Monica, and sister, Lauren. Also joining them at the table is Lamb’s biggest fan, Cashion third grader Luke Reid. Lamb is also surrounded by his Cashion football teammates. [Photo provided]
