Elijah Click’s soccer career will take him across the pond next year. The Kingfisher High School senior on Thursday signed to play soccer collegiately at Leeds Beckett University, which sits in the center of the United Kingdom. “This is a big moment not only for Elijah, but it’s a big moment for our school,” said KHS boys soccer coach Isaac Waltman during a signing ceremony held in the KHS commons in front of family, friends, classmate and teammates. “It’s very few and far between that we have someone go represent us in soccer collegiately, so it’s really big time for us.” A goalkeeper, Click garnered some attention from Leeds Beckett at a camp in Texas and ultimately made the decision to sign. He said he’ll move next August.
