Aaron DeLaTorre got the best of Cordell yet again.

The Kingfisher sophomore scored five goals last Saturday as the Jackets beat Cordell 12-2 in the final game of the Eagle Classic soccer tournament in Weatherford.

The Jackets lost their opening games Friday as they fell 5-0 to Lawton Eisenhower and 4-0 to Elk City.

KHS had defeated Cordell 13-3 less than a week prior and this matchup went much the same way.

In that matchup, DeLa-Torre scored three goals.

He topped that by two this time around.

Alan Muñoz and Noah Thomas chipped in two goals apiece.

Muñoz now has seven goals in the two wins against Cordell.

Dawson Diedrich, Xander Bolner and Reid Witt scored one goal each.

Witt also assisted on two other goals, as did Muñoz.

Bolner and DeLaTorre each had one assist.

KHS was 2-3 overall after the win.

The Lady Jackets were dealt three losses in the Eagle Classic.

They were defeated 6-0 by Lawton Eisenhower on Friday in the opener.

They followed that up with a 4-1 loss to Elk City.

The Lady Jackets re turned Saturday and were defeated 4-0 by Cordell.
