After suffering an opening-round loss, Dover salvaged the consolation championship from the Skeltur Conference Tournament last weekend.

The Lady Longhorns picked up their trophy after Saturday’s 56-37 victory over Pond Creek-Hunter at Stride Bank Center in Enid.

Four Dover players scored in double figures to lead a balanced attack as the team won for the fifth time in six games.

Kamree McNulty led the pack with 12 points, all on 3-pointers.

Three of those came in the opening quarter as Dover got out to a 20-9 lead it would never lose.

The team knocked down seven treys in the game.

They all came from the McNulty sisters as Karlee hit three of them en route to her 11 points.

The Lady Longhorns also got 11 points from Katelyn Harviston and Joi Caldwell.

Karlee Harviston scored eight, but she led the team with 15 points in Friday’s 63-35 victory over Cimarron.

Karlee McNulty scored 14 and Katelyn Harviston 13 in that victory.

The wins came after Thursday’s 54-50 loss to Covington-Douglas.

Dover was 15-6 overall after the tournament.

The Longhorns led 14-9 after a quarter, but scored just 12 points over the next 16 minutes.

Damion Turner added eight points for Dover.
