Kingfisher’s regular season is nearing its end with just two more games before the playoffs.

The finale comes Monday when KHS hosts the OKC Storm home-school team at the APB. That will serve as Senior Night for the teams.

Prior to that, however, the teams will wrap up conference action in this weekend’s Canadian Valley Conference playoff at Lindsay.

The KHS girls will play Lindsay at 5 p.m.

The Jackets will take on Washington at 6:30 p.m. to decide the conference championship.

Washington played the Jackets closer than any other conference foe this season. When they met at Washington on Jan. 18, KHS emerged 47-42.

While the county’s largest school is wrapping up its conference, the smallest ones will begin their treks to the Big House.

Class A and B districts begin statewide on Friday.

Both of Dover’s teams will have their seasons on the line when that takes place.

Dover’s girls (6:30 p.m.) and boys (8 p.m.) will play Okeene in Class B elimination games at Lomega.

The winners of those games will advance to play the host’s teams at the same times on Saturday for district titles.

Okarche is hosting a Class A district.

Kremlin-Hillsdale and Ringwood will play elimination games Friday for the right to advance to play Okarche Saturday.

Those district championship games will be 6:30 and 8 p.m.
