Three Raiders scored in double figures in Lomega’s final tune-up for the conference tournament.

Lomega downed Ringwood 75-30 Tuesday night at home in the first of two meetings against the Red Devils in three days.

The two squads met again Thursday in the first round of the Cherokee Strip Conference Tournament (see related story).

In the initial meeting, the Raiders had a modest nine-point lead before a 22-2 run in the second quarter.

Lance Yost scored nine and Jaxson Snowden and Chase Burton had six apiece in that run.

Burton had already scored nine points in the first quarter and finished with a team-high 21 points.

Adam Anderson did his best to keep the Devils in it. He scored nine in the first quarter, but didn’t score again until the third.

Anderson finished strong with 10 in the fourth to lead all scorers with 23.

However, no teammate scored more than three.

Burton got plenty of help.

Snowden also had a big third quarter and finished his night with 18 points.

Yost scored 16 as the Raiders improved to 11-5.

The Lady Raiders moved to 15-1 with their 80-16 victory.

Paige Wheeler scored 11 second-quarter points en route to 18 for the game.

Jackie Penaran added 12, 10 of them in the third quarter.

Kate Myers added 10 and Reagan Snowden nine as 12 different Lady Raiders scored.
