Dover dominated from the second inning on to pick up its fourth straight win.

The Longhorns traveled to Frontier on Tuesday and brought home a 12-3 victory.

After the game was tied 2-2 through one inning of play, the visitors rattled off 10 unanswered runs in the five-inning run-rule.

Bryce Cockayne and Trypp Lack put the Longhorns on top for good in the second inning.

Cockayne tripled home Brok Cooper and then scored on Lack’s RBI groundout.

The two-run lead became a 7-2 advantage in the third, which included an RBI single by Cooper and RBI sacrifice fly off the bat of Cockayne.

The barrage continued as Dover scored at least two runs in every inning.

Cockayne was 3 for 3 with 2 RBIs and three runs scored.

Lack went 2 for 4 with 3 RBIs and he scored twice.

Cooper finished 2 for 3, drove in a run and crossed home twice.

Cooper pitched the first inning before Casen Buck took over in the second.

Buck went three full innings, gave up two hits and didn’t surrender a run.

He struck out seven batters and walked one in picking up the win.

Lack pitched the fifth. Dover moved its season record to 4-2 with the victory.
