Mustang Stampede schedule

While most December basketball tournaments are next week, there are a few slated this week across Oklahoma.

One of them includes a county school.

Dover will travel north Thursday, Friday and Saturday to take part in the Mustang Stampede at Pioneer- Pleasant Vale High School.

The tournament bracket had to be adjusted last weekend after the Medford football team advanced to the Class C state championship game, which is noon Friday in Edmond.

That removed the Medford boys from the bracket. Blackwell JV is now a part of the field.

The football team’s success also affects the girls’ bracket as the outcome of Thursday’s quarterfinal between Burlington and Medford will determine when consolation and semifinal games are played Friday in order to allow the girls team and fans to attend the football game.

Mustang Stampede Girls Thursday

Game 1: Ringwood vs. Dover, 10 a.m.

Game 2: Medford vs. Burlington, 12:50 p.m.

Game 3: Coyle vs. Drummond, 3:45 p.m.

Game 4: Pioneer vs. Mulhall- Orlando, 6:35 p.m.

Friday

Loser 3 vs. Loser 4: 11:25 a.m.

Loser 1 vs. Loser 2: 2:15 p.m. (if Medford, then 8:15 p.m.)

Winner 3 vs. Winner 4, 5:15 p.m.

Winner 1 vs. Winner 2, 8:15 p.m. (if Burlington, then 2:15 p.m.)

Saturday
