Snider top 10 in 2 early golf events

Raegan Snider has a pair of top-10 finishes in her first two varsity golf events.

The Kingfisher High School freshman fired a 93 at Prairie West during the Weatherford Girls Invitational on March 23.

That was good enough for fifth place individually.

Snider returned to the course last Thursday and shot a 91 at Cedar Valley Golf Club’s International Course in Guthrie as part of the John Marshall Invitational.

That tied Snider for ninth.

KHS sophomore Kylie Hood shot a 102 in Weatherford and a 106 at Cedar Valley.

KHS girls golfers played at Elk City Tuesday (finished after press time) and hosted the Kingfisher tournament on Wednesday of this week.
