Shawnee Country Club proved tough to navigatefor much of the Class 4A girls state golf tournament field on Monday.

Only one golfer was under-par in the opening round and all but three golfers were 10-over-par or more at the end of the day.

That included Kingfisher’s Raegan Snider, who opened up with a 105.

Snider is a four-time qualifier for KHS.

Holland Hall’s Megan Kalapura led the tournament with a 1-under 70. That was five strokes better than Heritage Hall’s Gabriella Gross.

That was how the tour- nament concluded as well.

Golfers were set to return to the course Tuesday for the final round, but weather conditions forced its cancellation.

That makes Kalapura the indiviudal state champ.

Ft. Gibson won the team championship by shooting 355 Monday.

Bethany was the runner- up at 364 while Holland Hall and Plainview fired a 368.
