Cashion man is arrested, charged with 5 felonies
A Cashion man has been arrested and charged with multiple counts of attempting to solicit sex with a minor.
Curtis Hansen Wade, 37, was charged April 23 with five counts of soliciting sexual conduct or communication with minor by use of technology.
According to a Facebook post made by the Kingfisher County Sheriff’s Office, Wade was arrested “without incident” at his home in Cashion the same day he was charged.
He remains in custody at the Kingfisher County Criminal Justice Center. His first appearance at Kingfisher County District Court was set for 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, before Associate District Judge Lance Schneiter.
According to court documents, Wade also has the aliases of Curtis Wayne Hansen and Curtis Wayne Hansen-Wade.
He is accused of contacting a minor female via Facebook Messenger on April 20, according to a probable cause affidavit.
During the conversation, Wade told the minor he wanted to have sex with her, asked her if she wanted to have sex with him or told the minor he wanted to perform a sexual act with her, according to the affidavit.
Wade also sent a photo of himself exposing his penis, the affidavit states, and also said the photo included his face.
Court documents also state Wade asked the minor to send him nude photos of herself.
Each charge is a felony and punishable by up to 10 years in prison and/or a fine of $10,000.
