POST 5 MEMORIAL DAY SERVICE – The Keith Lowry-Henry Ellyson Oklahoma American Legion Post 5 presented the annual Memorial Day Service on Monday morning at Kingfi sher Cemetery. Post 5 Commander Mark Kirchner (bottom right photo), a U.S. Navy veteran, gave the keynote address. Chaplain Jim Butcher provided the invocation and benediction. Several different selections were sung by Vocal Sounds of Oklahoma (bottom left photo) throughout the ceremony. Kirchner and Post 5 Auxiliary President Roxie Alexander (top left photo) conducted the ceremonial wreath laying. There was also the “Salute to the Dead” by the Post 5 Firing Squad which was commanded by Larry Talbott as well as the playing of Taps by Amy Tollison (top right photo).
