Gilmour Elementary School first graders turned the tables on Santa this year.

Rather than writing the traditional letters containing their wish lists, students instead re-imagined themselves as Santa’s elves, filling out applications for the specific jobs they wanted and then writing letters listing their specific elvin skills.

Lacey Kuehn’s first grade class was the first to submit their job letters (reprinted below) to the Times & Free Press, which earned them a front page photo.

Other Gilmour classes will be printed in future editions as we receive them, along with letters from across the county.
