Cashion Achievement Day is Saturday
The 76th annual Cashion Achievement Day events are set to kick off Saturday, Jan. 17, when several competitions will take place.
By 1 p.m., all projects to be entered in the agriculture mechanics contest must be completed and submitted to the contest judge.
At the same time, all entries in the cookie wars competition must be completed and submitted to the contest judge.
The horse show will be held at the Cashion agriculture barn facility and begins at 2 p.m.
The rabbit and poultry show will be held at the Cashion agriculture barn facility at 4 p.m.
Lastly, the dog show will be held at the Cashion agriculture barn facility, starting at 5 p.m.
On Sunday, Jan. 18, the presentation of shooting, agriculture mechanic, skillathon, cookie wars and floriculture awards will begin at 2 p.m.
Following the conclusion of the recognition, cattle, sheep, goat and swine exhibitions will begin, with peewee showmanship at the end of each species.
To conclude the events, the Achievement Day dinner will be held Sunday at the Cashion School Cafe- teria.
Cashion’s 76th annual Achievement Day events will serve as a way for 4-H and FFA members to compete and gain recognition.
