Crescent men injured in accident near Lovell
Four Crescent men were involved in an accident in Logan County that left three of them injured on Sunday afternoon.
Dominic Descher, 20, was listed in serious condition at OU Medical Center with internal trunk injuries, according to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
The report said Descher was a passenger in a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Brennen Simpson.
The pickup-truck was southbound on MacArthur Boulevard when it left the roadway about 570 feet south of State Highway 74D, which is about one mile east of Lovell.
According to the report, the vehicle struck and embankment, then rolled an unknown amount of times before it came to rest on its top at about 4:40 p.m.
Members of the Guthrie Fire Department freed Dominic Descher and Michael Barnett, 21, about 20 minutes after the accident.
Simpson was treated and released on the scene. Barnett was taken by Guthrie EMS to OU Medical Center with arm and external trunk injuries and was listed in fair condition.
Another passenger, Luke Descher, 18, was not injured, the report said.
Dominic Descher was taken to the hospital by Guthrie EMS.
The report said everyone in the vehicle was using a seatbelt.
It added the cause of the accident was “unsafe speed for roadway conditions” later noting the rainy weather left the roadway “wet/muddy.”
