Kingfisher High School seniors Vann Burgess and Shelby Davis are the December 2025 Junior Lions.

The two were guests at a recent meeting of the Kingfi sher Lions Club.

Burgess is the son of Cindi and Will Burgess.

He’s active in cross country, track, Feeding America and is a member of the National Honor Society.

Burgess is also involved in the engineering program at Chisholm Trail Technology Center, took second place in engineering and seventh place in electrical at the Southwestern Interscholastic Meet (SWIM) and attends Lifeway Church.

He plans to attend college.

Davis is the daughter of Shelly Meade and Gary Davis.

She’s active in track and softball and was named all-district and all-region in softball.

Davis is also involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes, is a member of the National Honor Society and serves as a teacher’s aide at Gilmour Elementary.

She plans to play softball in college and then attend Texas A&M University and pursue a degree in veterinarian medicine.
