Following are reports by the Hennessey Fire Department:

Robert Stotts reported a fire six miles west of Hennessey on S.H. 51 and Preacher Creek at 3:32 p.m. Feb. 9. One tanker and three brush pumper trucks responded.

Leo Reyes reported a grass fire at S.H. 51/132, one mile east and back south at 11:07 a.m. Feb. 11. One tanker and two brush pumper trucks responded.

Caller reported at 11:48 a.m. Feb. 15 that a grass fire a few days before at S.H. 132/51 had flared back up. An officer was dispatched, and firefighters took a brush pumper to the fire site and returned to the station at 12:44 p.m.

Caller reported at 3:02 p.m. Feb. 15 that white smoke was coming up from S.H. 132/51, one mile east and back south. A brush pumper was dispatched at 3:14 p.m. and a tanker truck at 3:17. Both returned to the station at 3:38 p.m.
