The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:

Sergeant Charles Trout said in his report that he was on patrol in the area of Seventh Street and Seay Avenue when he observed a vehicle with an inoperable passenger side headlamp and he initiated a traffic stop of the vehicle.

According to the report, the 38-year-old male driver was driving with an expired driver’s license and was placed under arrest for operating a motor without a valid driver’s license.

The suspect was issued a warning for the inoperable headlamp and a citation for driving a motor vehicle without a valid license, according to the report.

An inventory of the vehicle was performed and the vehicle was impounded the report said.

The suspect was transported to the Kingfisher County Criminal Justice Center.
