Kingfisher Police Department reports

The Kingfisher Police Department has investigated or responded to the following reports:

December 17 - Planning or threatening violent act.

Officer Justin Conner responded to a report of an individual making threatening statements in the 200 block of South 10th Street.

December 19 - Assault and battery.

Officer Kyle Svoboda responded to a report of an altercation in the 700 block of South 11th Street.

Sergeant Charles Trout assisted with the investigation.

December 23 - Domestic assault and battery/ abuse second offense.

Officer Christopher McDaniel responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 600 block of West Bowman Avenue.

December 27 - Domestic abuse assault and battery.

Officer Kyle Svoboda responded to a report of an altercation in the 1000 block of South Eighth Street.

Sergeant Charles Trout assisted with the investigation.

January 10 - Public intoxication.

Officer Derek Grassman responded to a report of a suspicious individual near Kingfisher Heritage School, South Ninth Street and West Toronto Avenue.

According to the report, officers made contact with a 30-year-old male suspect who appeared to exhibit signs of intoxication.

Grassman said in his report the suspect was arrested for public intoxication and transported to the Kingfisher County Criminal Justice Center.

Assistant Chief Travis Gray, Sergeant Justin Trumbley and Officer Quinton Cline assisted with the investigation.

January 10 - Assault and battery.

Officer Derek Grassman responded to Mercy Hospital Kingfisher, in regards to an assault on an individual. According to the report, a 58-year-old male individual stated he was collecting scrap metal in the 400 block of West Broadway Avenue and a known male suspect “pushed him causing him to fall over a couch and (they) started scuffling with each other on the ground.”

Grassman said in his report the individual stated that his shoulder was injured during the altercation and sought treatment at the hospital.

Officers went to the location of the alleged assault and spoke with a witness, the report said.

Sergeant Justin Trumbley assisted with the investigation.
