Kingfisher Rotary Club hosts 5 KHS seniors
Five Kingfisher High School seniors were guests last week of the Kingfisher Rotary Club.
Joining Rotarians at their meeting were Clayton Weinmeister, Gabriel Rodriguez, Blake Hill, Aaron Delatorre and Cord Alig.
Weinmeister is the son of Scott and Jodie Weinmeister.
His interests include music and he plans to major in computer science after graduating high school.
Rodriguez is the son of Jose and Carolina Rodriguez.
He enjoys practicing and watching combat sports, playing video games and listening to music, among other hobbies.
He plans to join the work force after high school.
Hill is the son of Jeremie and Crystal Hill.
He is a member of both the football and golf teams as well as Student Council.
Hill plans to pursue a career as a firefighter after high school.
Delatorre is the son of Antonio and Maria Delatorre.
He is a member of both the football and soccer teams and has been listed on the principal’s honor roll.
Delatorre plans to attend Oklahoma State University and pursue a degree in civil engineering.
Alig is the son of Mark and Chelsea Golbek.
He’s a member of Kingfisher FFA and has also been taking part in the new firefighter training through the school in coordination with Kingfisher Fire Department.
Alig said he intends to pursue a career as a firefi ghter after high school and also to help with the family farm.
