Local traffic accidents
The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department: January 24, 1:56 p.m. - At U.S. 81 and Robberts Avenue.
Edi Lopez Aboite, 23, Dover, driving a 2019 Ford F150, was southbound in the outside lane of U.S. 81 and stopped for the traffic signal at the Robberts Avenue intersection.
Michael Delozier, 52, Kingfisher, driving a 2017 Ford F250, was also southbound in the outside lane of U.S. 81, directly behind the Aboite vehicle.
According to the report, the Delozier vehicle failed to stop for the traffic signal and struck the Aboite vehicle in the rear.
Minor damage was reported to both vehicles.
A 25-year-old female passenger in the Aboite vehicle sustained a cut over her right eye and was transported by the driver to Mercy Hospital Kingfi sher for evaluation, the report said.
No other injuries were reported.
Officer Aaron Schlegel investigated the accident.
February 6, 12:10 p.m. At West Will Rogers Drive and South 13th Street.
Allen Meacham, 75, Kingfisher, driving a 2021 Buick, was in the outside westbound lane of West Will Rogers Drive and stopped at the intersection of South 13th Street.
Cynthia Rauh, 62, Kingfisher, driving a 2022 Jeep Gladiator, was in the outside westbound lane of West Will Rogers Drive, directly behind the Meacham vehicle.
According to the report, the Rauh vehicle failed to stop and struck the Meacham vehicle in the rear.
Minor damage was reported to both vehicles.
Meacham sustained possible unknown injuries, the report said.
