Local traffic accidents
The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:
April 4, 3 p.m. - At 1500 S. 13th St. — A 17-year-old male, Kingfisher, driving a 2020 Chevrolet C15, was backing out of a parking space at Kingfisher High School, 1500 S. 13th St. A 16-year-old male, Kingfisher, driving a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro, was also backing out of a parking space directly behind the 17-year-old’s vehicle. According to the report, the 16-year-old’s vehicle stopped to yield to another vehicle and was then struck by the 17-year-old’s vehicle. Minor damage was reported to both vehicles. No injuries were reported. Lieutenant Justin Trumbley investigated the accident.
April 9, 11:30 a.m. - At 13th Street and S.H. 33. — Todd Siegmann, 58, Hennessey, driving a 2013 Ram 2500, was southbound on North 13th Street and stopped at the intersection of S.H. 33. Erika Pickle, 46, Kingfi sher, driving a 2024 Chevrolet Blazer, was southbound on North 13th Street and stopped directly behind the Siegmann vehicle. According to the report, the Sigemann vehicle attempted to back up to make room for a semi-truck, which was turning northbound onto 13th Street, and struck the Pickle vehicle. Minor damage was reported to both vehicles. No injuries were reported. Officer Quinton Cline investigated the accident.
