The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department: January 11, 5:37 p.m. - At U.S. 81 and Frontage Road.

Angela Beauchamp, 57, Dover, driving a 2018 Jeep Cherokee, was southbound in the outside lane of U.S. 81.

Linda Maggard, 74, Enid, driving a 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer, was eastbound near Frontage Road and stopped at the intersection of U.S. 81.

According to the report, the Maggard vehicle proceeded eastbound into the southbound U.S. 81 lanes and was struck by the Beauchamp Disabling damage was reported to the Maggard vehicle and functional damage to the Beauchamp vehicle.

Beauchamp sustained possible arm injuries, the report said.

Officer Aaron Schlegel investigated the accident.

January 14, 6:06 p.m. - At U.S. 81 and Starlite Drive.

Julianna Meza, 18, Kingfi sher, driving a 2007 Dodge CXT, was southbound in the right turning lane of U.S. 81 at the Starlite Drive intersection and attempted to turn right.

According to the report, the Meza vehicle entered the intersection at an angle, lost traction, departed the roadway to the left, crossed over the lane divider, entered the ditch and struck an electrical box before coming to rest.

Disabling damage was reported to the vehicle.

No injuries were reported.
