Oklahoma Lions Eye Bank
Lori Miller, executive director of the Oklahoma Lions Eye Bank, was the featured speaker of the Kingfisher Lions Club last week. She narrated a presentation and explained that the Eye Bank has been in operation since 1957 in Oklahoma and has helped facilitate the transplant of 22,034 corneas and replacement eye tissues. Pictured with Kingfisher Lions Club President Colton DeMuth, Miller said the Eye Bank works closely with LifeShare and Share Donors to recover corneas from the recently deceased from across the state.
